ADAPT++

Adapt++ includes strategies to establish connections to the surroundings. The key design strategy behind “Imitation Game” is the ability of the house to adapt and blend with its surroundings making use of the reflective exterior panels, creating a seamless transition from the exterior to the interior. The word “Imitation” signifies the same.

It also includes strategies to improve mobility, connectivity and create a user-centric design of spaces. Here, the house can be easily transported from one place to another by simply connecting it to a truck which opens the possibility of comfortable travel with the safety of a house. 

The house is made up of modular components which can be altered by the user to create living, sleeping and working spaces. Here the user has the freedom to design the interior spaces according to their needs and requirements

REDUCE--

Reduce-- includes strategies to reduce the consumption of fossil fuels, emissions and exploitation of natural resources 

The house aims at reducing the amount of materials used for construction, thus reducing the overall weight which ultimately leads to increased mobility and fuel savings. 

The construction footprint is also reduced by using modular movable furniture which can be stacked side-by-side to increase usable interior space for various activities. The word “Game” in “Imitation Game” stands for this fun way of arranging interior spaces according to the user’s specific requirements. 

The exterior dimension of the house is 6.5m x 3.5m (22.75 sqm), which is suitable for transportation on a custom-made trailer bed. 

Sustain==

Sustain== includes strategies to conserve the maximum amount of energy and reduce the carbon footprint of the house. 

Solar panels provide electricity for daily operations, appliances and fixtures. It is also used to heat water whenever required. It can also be used to charge vehicle batteries in critical situations

The house features a low-flush toilet, 5-star energy-rated electrical appliances and efficient electrical fixtures like LED bulbs to reduce water and electricity consumption

The use of recycled wood and plastic helps in achieving the sustainability goal. Materials used in construction are less vulnerable to weather damage, ensuring the longevity of components. The reflective panels also help in reducing heat gain in hot climates.
