Embracing its essence of "Mame" (Pronunciation similar to “Mommy” in English), symbolizing a seed in Japanese, this design upholds more than mere functionality. This unique stool is all about being interactive and versatile. Shaped like a peanut, it goes beyond the usual, offering various ways to use it. For example, you can sit on one side for a meal and use the other side to keep your food. It’s not just a seat - it can turn into a desk too, in different angles and setups.
It's made mainly from moulded plywood and a mix of recycled timber fibres, showing a smart blend of tradition and eco-friendliness. With pastel colours enhancing its natural wood look, this stool adds a lively touch to any space, sparking conversations and good memories. It's stackable too, making it easy to store or add more when needed. Beyond its practical use, the "MaMeMaMe Stool" aims to bring people closer and promote sustainability in Asahikawa's manufacturing, promising a bright and eco-friendly future.
